6/12-C.H. Sullivan

C.H. “Connie” Sullivan, 83, of Green Ridge, Mo., died late Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia, Mo.

He was born February 25, 1934, near Spring Fork, Mo., the son of William and Viola (McHugh) Sullivan. At an early age the family moved to a farm south of LaMonte, Mo., where he attended LaMonte High School. On February 4, 1956, he was married to Beverly Ann Clevenger of Green Ridge, Mo.

Mr. Sullivan worked several years at General Motors in Kansas City. He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He and Beverly lived on a farm north of Green Ridge where he was a livestock and grain farmer. He also worked for the Green Ridge Post Office as a rural mail carrier for 25 years. He was a charter member of the Central Missouri Coon Hunters Association.

In addition to his wife of 61 years, he is survived by three 3 sons, John Robert (Ann) Sullivan, Donald Asa Sullivan, and David Lee Sullivan, all of Green Ridge, Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Cole Asa Sullivan, Clint William Sullivan, Nicholas Hugh Sullivan, twins Kyleigh Donn Sullivan and Kollin Rhea Sullivan, and Taylor Jacob Sullivan; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael William Sullivan.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning, June 10, 2017, at the Hickory Point Cemetery, rural Green Ridge, Mo., with Rev. Larry Hill officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Hickory Point Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
