The celebration of the life of a super hero Grandma (April, 11th 1944- October, 15th 2017)
Sue Rae Riter was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond William White and Ina Mae (Burkholder) White. She married Russ Riter in Waverly, Iowa on October 13, 1984.  He survives of the home.
She was happily retired from retail loss prevention.
A super hero is someone that faces dilemmas, and problems- these adversities inspire those around them with their noble impulse. A superhero is a role model. Sue Riter was the truest form of a superhero to those around her. She stood tall in her fight against breast cancer, her mini stroke, diabetes, her heart problems, and the heart break that came from losing her daughter. Like many of our favorite super heroes, the tale lead to a painful end for her biggest fans- also known as her family. Sue’s legacy lives on throughout the loved ones she has left behind including Husband, Russ Riter; Daughters Deborah Floring (late Rich), Kristen Tidwell (late Bryan), Sharon Grey (Brad), Julie and Darla Riter; Son, Darryl Riter (Heidi); and her many grandchildren including: Ryan, Lauryn, and Brandon Floring, Brittany and Austin Frazier-Smith, Taylor Chwala (Aaron), Dylan Held, Fabian Gonzalez (Angie) and Aleena Gonzalez, Simon, Elijah, and Gabriel, Peyton Kline, Justina and Michael Stylski Jr. (and Family). Sue is welcomed in her journey across the stars by: Parents Ina and Ed Burkholder, Ray White Sr., and Daughter Robin Gayle Frazier- Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.  The family will receive friends from Noon to 4:30 p.m., just prior to the celebration service.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left online at www.bradleyhadley.
