Floyd Cecil Gray, age 74 of Hager Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born October 24, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Mary Elizabeth Crooks Gray and Wallace F. Gray.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Hood Gray; one daughter: Melinda Johnson and husband, Billy of Hager Hill, Kentucky; two sons: Eric Gray and wife, Shanna of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Jared Gray and wife, Michelle of Clayton, North Carolina; one sister: Virginia Ann Hunter of Clinton, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Alyssa Crum and husband Michael, Claire Johnson, Kelsey Gray, Kynzie Gray, Blaine Gray, Maya Gray, and Jayden Gray.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Paintsville, Kentucky. Body shall lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may visit on Wednesday at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5-9pm. In addition Mr. Gray will have visitation in Clinton, Missouri at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home on Saturday, March 24 from 1:30-3pm with graveside services to be held at 3:30pm in the Englewood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
