Teresa Lee Tuter

Died: September 26, 2015

Teresa Lee (Green) Tuter, age 61, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Westwood in Clinton. She was receiving rehab after surgery on her knee and was scheduled to return home later that day. Sadly, she never made it home. She is now with her husband arguing again! The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Graveside services and inurnment will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Teresa Tuter Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Teresa was born June 29, 1954 in Warrensburg, Missouri the daughter of Ellis and Bettie (Christian) Green. She grew up and graduated from Warrensburg in 1973. She was united in marriage to Orval L. Tuter on January 12, 1974. To this union two children were born, Angelic Dawn in 1974 and Ellis Wayne in 1976. Teresa lived in and around Warrensburg until 1988 when she moved to Clinton, Missouri. She worked in healthcare, retiring from Golden Living Center after 20 years there, as a certified medical technician. She had recently received her disability and no longer worked due to her health.

Teresa was well loved by all and was known to help out anyone in a pinch. She never knew a stranger.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orval Tuter, and a brother, Eugene Green.

Survivors include her daughter, Angie Huff (Rodney) of Deepwater, MO, her son, Ellis Tuter of Farmington, MO; four grandchildren, Charles, Caleb, Christian and Rebecca Wirsig all of Deepwater, MO; several brothers and sisters, Karolan Bolten of Clinton, MO, Bill Green (Teresa) of Wichita, KS, Judy Moore and Bertha Green of Lordsburg, NM, Tony Green (Debbie) of Sikeston, MO, Jeanie Hall (Wayne) of Silver City, NM, half brothers and sisters; Donald Hix (Gloria) of Altenburg, MO, Keith Hix (Sherry) of Merriam, KS, Kenny Hix (Michelle) of Independence, MO, David Hix and Mary Pantoja (Ruben) of Arizona City, AZ, Janice Wood (Ralph) of Safford, AZ, and Anna Marie Ramirez of Albuquerque, NM, as well as a host of nieces and nephew and countless friends.
