Charles L. Setzer, age 82 of Warrensburg, MO, died at Western Missouri Medical Center, Warrensburg, on Friday, October 9, 2015. Charles was born May 5, 1933 in Johnstown, MO to John and Hattie (Mosier) Setzer. He married Charlene Fultz in April of 1956. Charles was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at various jobs including a chemical truck driver while a member of the Local Teamsters Union in Kansas City, MO and maintenance for the Poulsbo, WA School District. He loved gardening, woodworking, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Torma of Hawaii; granddaughter, Jessica Torma of Hawaii; grandson, Alexander Torma of Arizona; a friend and father of his grandchildren, Tony Torma of Washington; four sisters, Lois (Robert) Rich of Bates City, MO, Evelyn Boyer of Bonne Terre, MO, Anita Fickle of Clinton, MO and Marjorie (Dale) Adams of Buckner, MO; three brothers, Richard (Ruby) Setzer of Green Ridge, MO, Kenneth (Carol) Setzer of Harrisonville, MO and Ronald (Marty) Setzer of Urich, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Charlene; a son, Vincent Setzer; and two sisters, Datha Southard and Norene Paul. The family will receive visitors at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Charlie will return to Poulsbo, Washington to be laid to rest beside his beloved Charlene and son Vincent. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
