Gwendolyn Rose Foley, 62, of Urich, Missouri died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 19, 1954 in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of James Robert Foley and Mary Eleanor (Puttoff)) Foley.
Gwendolyn was employed with Rival Manufacturing in Clinton, Mo., and K-7 Drive-Inn in Urich, Mo.  Her passion was caring for people. She was an active member of the Urich Baptist Church, where she worked as custodian for two years, served on the kitchen committee, taught preschool Sunday School, was a Vacation Bible School teacher, nursery worker, and participated in the church Prayer Chain.  She was also active in the Ladies Night-Out Outreach Ministry and participated in the Punkin Patch at Halloween.  She was a 4-H teacher and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are one son, Jason Foley and wife Lisa, Versailles, Mo.; one daughter, Tiffany Walden and husband Matt, Clinton, Mo.; ten grandchildren, Jeremy Roberson, Brehana Roberson, Amber Roberson, Preston Walden, Joshua Roberson, Natalie Walden, Hailey Foley, Wyatt Foley, Allison Foley, and Madison Foley; two brothers, Darryl Foley and wife Bev, Linwood, Kansas, and David Foley, Linwood, Ks.; three sisters, Barbara Pickert and husband Jack, Bonner Springs, Ks., Marlene Bouray and husband Greg, Kansas City, Ks., and Carma Korte and husband Donnie, Overland Park, Ks.; sister-in-law, Jana Foley, El Dorado Spring, Mo.; and companion, caregiver, very close friend, Mick Vogt, Urich, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Douglas Foley on March 10, 1978; and one brother, Dwight Foley on October 30, 2011.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Urich Baptist Church, 502 North Main Street, Urich, Mo.  Pastor George V. Quillin will officiate.  Burial will be in the Urich Cemetery, Urich, Mo.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon. Saturday, just prior to the funeral service.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Urich Baptist Church, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.  Condolences may be left online at www.bradleyhadley.com.
