Stacey Jill Scott-Parmley, age 49 of Montrose, MO, died at her home, on Sunday, July 12, 2015 under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice. Stacey was born February 14, 1966, in Clinton, MO, the daughter of Shelby Jay and Suzanne Jean ‘Claypool’ Scott. Stacey was a preschool teacher and child care provider before she became disabled. She was a Humane Society supporter. On January 16, 2015 she was united in marriage to Moley Parmley, Jr. who survives of the home. In addition to her husband, Stacey is survived by her daughter Brooke (Zane) Riggs, Belton, MO, her mother, Suzanne Scott, Deepwater, MO, sisters, Shelli (Russell) Tucker, Lee’s Summit, MO and Sharol (Manuel) Gutierrez, Olathe, KS, her brother Shannon (Christine) Scott, Odessa, MO and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of friends and special friend Lexi Lou, her cat. Stacey was preceded in death by her father. The family will receive visitors at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
