Craig Marshall Brock, age 72, of Green Ridge, MO, died at his home, on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Craig was born on Tuesday, August 24, 1943 to Barkley M. Brock and Emma Katherine ‘Shadwell’ Brock of Clinton, MO. After graduating from high school, Craig enlisted in the Navy. He served for a total of 6 years, 11 months and 22 days, 2 years, 10 months and 11 days of which was served in Korea and Vietnam. After his military service, Craig worked for various employers; the last was maintenance supervisor for Schreiber Foods. He was a member of VFW Post #1894, the Eagles Lodge, the Golden Valley Saddle Club, the American Walking Horse Association and the American Saddle Bred Association.
Survivors include his children, Jessica Brock-Newland (David) of the home, Christopher Brock (Michelle) and David Brock, both of Pennsylvania; a step-son, David Johnson of MO; five grandchildren, Joshua Stephens, MO, Samantha Brock, PA, Austin Brock, PA, Christopher Johnson, MO, and J. J. Johnson, MO; several step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer Geer-Newland, Audrey Geer-Newland and Sophia Newland; a niece, Hattie Pasley; and several friends.
Preceding Craig in death were his parents; his wife, Barbara Cummings; a son, Robert William Neff; and a granddaughter, Tonie Stephens.
The family will receive visitors July 22nd at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton at 1:00 PM. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, followed by an inurnment at Snodgrass Cemetery (West of Montrose, MO) at 3:15 PM.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Craig M. Brock Memorial Fund and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
