Helen Lee Bramell age 88, of Blue Springs, MO, formely of Deepwater, MO passed away Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2017, 6:00-8:00 PM also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family suggests memorial contributions to The Alzheimer’s Association, The Henry County Memory Fund, or the Deepwater Christian Church and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Helen was the daughter of Wilbert Earl and Allie Bell (Dunning) Scrogham. She was vice president for 53 years of the Farmer’s Bank/Hawthorn Bank, a member of the Deepwater Christian Church, and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; brother, Wilburn; and twin sister, Ellen.
Survivors include her daughter Glenda Sims and husband Bill, of Blue Springs; grandchildren, W. Cottan (Scout) Simms, T. Corey (Hillary) Simms, and J. Kelly Simms; and great grandchildren, Liam and Oliver Simms.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
