Francine Whitchurch, 88, of Clinton, Missouri died early Monday morning, April 17, 2017 at the Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 1, 1928 in Clinton, Mo., the daughter of Ira John Denny and Mary (Gunter) Denny. Francine married Wayne Whitchurch on September 1, 1949 in Clinton, Mo. He preceded her in death May 5, 1999.
Francine drove a school bus for the Clinton School District. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Coal, Mo. She was a proud graduate of Coal High School. Francine enjoyed working in her flower garden and while living at Clinton Healthcare & Rehab she enjoyed her many friendships with the residents.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Whitchurch, Clinton, Mo., and John Whitchurch, Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Mary George and husband Bob, Clinton, Mo., and Helen Whitchurch, Independence, Mo.; two grandsons, Scott George, Lynn Creek, Mo., and Kevin George, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; and one great-grandson, Christopher Deemer.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services and interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Englewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. just prior to the graveside at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home.
