Goldie Louise Taylor
(October 18, 1934 – November 15, 2017)

The SERVICE for Goldie will be at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

The MINISTER will be Pastor Steve Burrow.

The VISITATION will be at Hill and Son Funeral Home
Appleton City, Missouri 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017.

INTERMENT will be in Mt Zion Cemetery, rural Appleton City, Missouri.

The family requests any MEMORIAL donations be made to Heartland Hospice.

Goldie Louise Taylor, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in rural Appleton City, Missouri on November 15, 2017. She was one of eight children born to Goldman and Gladys (Taylor) Taylor on October 18, 1934.

September 3, 1994 Goldie was united in marriage to Melvin Taylor. She worked as an LPN surgical nurse in numerous hospitals in Kansas City, Missouri.

She had a love like no other for music. She and her husband, Melvin would travel to play guitar and sing for many rest homes, churches, and birthday parties.

Goldie loved to bake, but her most enjoyable baking experiences included her grandbabies participation in the distribution of the flour and kneading of the dough.

She treasured her life on the farm so much she even named each and every cow and thoroughly enjoyed caring for them.

Most of all Goldie loved and cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Goldman and Gladys Taylor; two sisters Betty Francis and Wanita Nichols and three brothers, Kenneth, Richard and David Taylor.

Survivors include: Melvin Taylor, Delsie Colleen Bean (Phillip), Ruby Cummings (Ray), Shawna Engeman (Dennis), Terra Reynolds (Brian), Delena Black (Kevin), Cleatis Taylor, Nathan Taylor (Marsha), Elsie Brenton, Geneva Smith, Tiffany Esser (Gerald), Samantha Tubbs (Jakeb), Hailey, Elizabeth ,Matthew and Addison Esser, Tearny, Jameson and Montana Tubbs. Goldie will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
