Raymore, Missouri.

Nancy was born January 25, 1925 in Dwight, Illinois the daughter of Harold and Mary (Taylor) Lewis. After high school she moved to Joliet, Illinois where she worked at the E.J.&E. Railroad in the General Superintendent’s office. She met her husband, Clarence, who also worked at the “J”. Nancy stayed at home to raise her family and went back to work, later in life, where she worked in the County Clerk’s office of Will County. She was known as “Mrs. O” and was a dear friend to many. After retiring she moved to Clinton, Missouri to be closer to family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, and a son, Terry.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Clemens (Manny) of Clinton, Missouri.

Monty is survived by his brother, Bob Mills and wife, Sheri, Tonganoxie, Kansas; his sister, Patty Sutton and husband, Dennis, Butler, Missouri; 5 nieces and nephews, Tammy, Brian, Chris, Christy and Robert; several great-nieces and nephews.

 Bill will be held at Hill & Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

A VISITATION will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

OFFICIATING the service will be The Reverend Ron Beaton and Pastor Tony Reynolds.

The family suggests any MEMORIAL donations be given to the Bill Long Youth Baseball Fund or Trinity United Methodist Church. These can be left at the funeral home.

A private family INURNMENT will take place at a later date.

    Bill G Long, son of Elton James Long  &  Leta Ruth (Keeton) was born January 31, 1945 in rural Appleton City, Missouri.  He passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Ellett Memorial Hospital at the age of 70 after a battle with cancer.
Bill lived in the Appleton City area all his life, graduating from ACHS in 1963. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where he attended and was baptized.
On October 28, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sandra (Waite) in Vista, MO.  They made their home in Appleton City where they were blessed with two sons, Jeff and Mark.  Two boys were perfect for Bill to continue his love for coaching and playing baseball, which spilled over to becoming a friend to every boy who played for him and the ones who played against him.
Bill worked for the USPS for 36 years, serving  part time to full time city carrier in Appleton City and as Postmaster at Rockville where he retired.  Being the workaholic he was, he always had a part time job on the side.  Along with others jobs, Bill was the Cable TV local service man and the car detailing which turned into a full time business “Long’s Detail” after retirement.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Elton Long and brother, Nelson Long. He is survived by his mother, Leta Ruth (Keeton);  wife, Sandra (Waite);  Sons: Jeff and wife Katie (Gengler) and Mark and wife Misty (Dains); Grandchildren: Jenna, Kyle, Peyton, Jarrett and Jace and many nieces and nephews.  Bill had a very special bond with his sisters-in-law and their husbands: Linda “Skip” & Jack Mead, Betty & Gerald Stephans and Debbie & Dean Walker.

Gerald E. (Jerry) Lesmeister, age 72 of Deepwater, MO, died at Vitas Hospice in Research Medical Center of Kansas City, MO, on Monday, June 15, 2015.

Jerry was born on February 28, 1943 to Bernard John Lesmeister and Beulah Blanch ‘Kelland’ Lesmeister of Kansas City, MO. After school, Jerry joined the U.S. Army and served from 1960 to 1962. After his discharge, he went to work as a truck driver and then as a carpenter in the construction business. Jerry was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, tribe of Mic-O-Say as a youth and later as a scout master. He was known as Trapper of Big Beaver among the tribe. He married Corrine Sutton on June 20, 1996 in Clinton, while making their home in Deepwater. Jerry loved to fish and work in his garden. He especially loved his flowers.

Survivors include his wife, Corrine of the home; 2 sons, Damon Lesmeister (Anne) of Corvallis, OR and Bill Lesmeister of Blue Springs, MO; 5 grandchildren; a brother, John Lesmeister (Sue) of Calhoun, MO; 2 nephews and a host of friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a son, David.

The family will receive visitors at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the chapel of Consalus Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, followed by interment at Deepwater Cemetery, Deepwater, MO.

Douglas Henry Neve II, 63 of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday morning, June 15, 2015, at his home in Windsor.

He was born October 12, 1951, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Douglas Henry Neve and Dorothy Marie (Christensen) Neve.

He was a telephone technician having worked for Sprint for some time. He later worked for Shreiber Foods, in Clinton, Mo., as a forklift operator, retiring 2 years ago. He enjoyed traveling and had traveled every state in the United States, with the exception of Hawaii. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

He is survived by 2 sons, Aaron Levin Neve, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gage Mathew Neve, Windsor, Mo.; a sister, Penny Price (Richard), Deer Park, Washington; a niece, Angela Bridges and a nephew, Shane Price. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary Lee Ashley, 51, of rural Appleton City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Gary had fought a long hard battle with health problems being diabetic and then having a kidney/pancreas transplant in 2003 and needing dialysis in 2004.
Gary attended and graduated from Appleton City High School, where he met his wife, Terrie Henzlik. They were high school sweethearts meeting at age 15 and marrying at the First Baptist Church in Appleton City soon after graduation on August 10, 1985. They were blessed with two children.
Gary began working for Allen Porter at age 18. He was a farm laborer and put up tin grain bins for 9½ years. He then went to work for St. Clair County Road & Bridge Department first hauling gravel then later as a brush cutter. Gary and Terrie also owned and operated the Appleton City Laundry Mat together for 10 years. He bought both kids vehicles at age 15 so he could teach them how to change the oil and take care of their own cars when they moved away from home. He also enjoyed teaching his children to hunt and fish. Gary enjoyed building lawn mower tractors for pulling competitions and the entire family spent many enjoyable weekends pulling lawn mowers. They also enjoyed having their family and friends over for a big 4th of July celebration.
Gary spent a great deal of time making projects with his metal lathe and milling machine. He also loved motorcycles and automobiles and was restoring his car from high school with his son, Michael. They spent time together working on projects in the wood shop too.
Preceding Gary in death were his grandparents, Trucy and Frances Brown and Cecil and Velma Ashley; a nephew Nicholas Jurgensmeyer; a niece Amber Siegismund; an aunt Ann Jalene Snodgrass; and father-in-law Bud Henzlik. Survivors include his wife, Terrie (Henzlik) Ashley of the home; his two children, Kristie Ashley (Brennan Minks) of Warrensburg, Missouri and Michael Ashley of the home; his parents, William and Joanne Ashley of Appleton City; his sister Cathy Jurgensmeyer (Carl) of Montrose, Missouri; his mother-in-law Carolyn Henzlik of Appelton City; his uncle, Mark Ashley (Trish) of Appleton City; two nephews, Cole Jurgensmeyer of Montrose and Nolan Siegismund of Rockville, Missouri; a niece Lindsey Koelling (Darren) of Russellville, Missouri; a great-niece Emma Koelling; two sisters-in-law, Sherrie Siegismund (Mark) of Rockville and Kerrie Hedger (Scott) of Kingsville, Missouri.

Michael W. Williams, 56, of Clinton, Missouri died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born August 1, 1958 in Clinton, Mo., the son of William Clifford (Tank) Williams and Wilma Jean (Jones) Williams. Michael was a graduate of Clinton High School. He was employed with Schreiber Foods as a forklift operator for ten years before becoming disabled. In his spare time he loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church.

On September 27, 1980 he married Karen Lynn Stewart, and she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his mother, Wilma Jean Williams of Clinton, Mo.; two daughters, Amy Oles and her husband Stanley of Clinton, Mo., and Kim Edwards and her husband Kevin of Sedalia, Mo.; one grandson, Carter Edwards of Sedalia, Mo.; one step-grandson, Dallas Oles of Olney, Illinois; and one step-granddaughter, Madeline Oles of Olney, Ill.; one brother, Charlie (Butch) Williams and his wife Jean of Mechanicsville, Virginia; three sisters, Cathy Wilson of Odessa, Mo., Roberta (Bertie) Barnhart and her husband Mark of Humansville, Mo., and Susan Harrill and her husband Jim of Clinton, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father on January 3, 1981.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton, Mo., with Reverend Joey Conway, officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the C.A.R.E. organization or a charity of the donor’s choice. Kenneth Earl Creach, 58, of Windsor, Missouri, died Sunday May 10, 2015, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo.

He was born August 21, 1956, in Windsor, Mo., the son of Arron Kenneth Creach and Rose Ellen (Pennel) Creach.

Kenneth had worked at Tracker Marine in Clinton, Mo., for a time. He also worked in Windsor for Ward Fencing and for the Sanitation Department for the City of Windsor.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Aaron Wolford, Rolla, Mo.; his mother, Rose Creach, Richmond, Mo.; 3 sisters, Pam Walden, Richmond, Mo., Mary McKim Brandon, Mo., and Beth Spalding, Windsor, Mo.; a step-son, Christopher Wolford and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Calvary Baptist Church, Windsor. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
