Chris P. Landsberg, 57, of Tightwad, Missouri died early Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born October 12, 1958 in Odessa, Mo., the son of Paul Jay Landsberg and Phyllis Maxine (Norcross) Landsberg.

Chris married Christina M. Titus on February 16, 1980 in Clinton, Mo., and she survives of the home.

Chris was employed as a beekeeper and also with Tracker Marine in Clinton. He was a member of the Restoration Branch where he served as an elder, a Sunday school teacher, and was on the building committee. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting with his grandchildren, and following his children and grandchildren’s sports activities.

In addition to his wife, surviving are one son, Paul Allen Landsberg and wife Casey of Racket, Mo.; one daughter, LaChrisha Marie Gray and husband Jeffery of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Melissa Pierce, Michael Pierce, Paul Jay Landsberg, Alan Landsberg, and Dallas Christopher Gray; his mother, Phyllis Landsberg of Bates City, Mo.; two brothers, James Scott Landsberg and fiance’ Stephanie of Oak Grove, Mo., and Douglas Landsberg and wife Tammy of Windsor, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Viola Titus of Clinton, Mo.; three brothers-in-law, Michael Marshall of Bates City, Mo., Victor Titus and wife Debby of Farmington, New Mexico, and Bruce Titus and wife Patty of Copeland, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Amy Marshall on October 24, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton, Mo. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. , at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch Building Fund, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home. Frances was born March 18, 1921 to Samuel Lee Stewart and Maggie J. ‘Robinson’ Stewart of Brownington, MO. Frances married Dellmar F. Harryman and prided herself in her career as a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. U.S. VeteranFranklin Goslin, 86, lifelong Clinton resident and businessman, died peacefully in his sleep, at his home on Thursday November 26, 2015. Private family graveside services will be Friday, December 4th, 2015, 11 am at Vansant Road Cemetery. A celebration of life visitation will be held in his honor at the Clinton Elks Lodge on Friday December 4th, 2015 from 4-6 pm. Memorial contributions in Franklin’s honor can be made to the Clinton Elks building fund in care of the funeral home.

Born March 4, 1929 to Henry and Laura Goslin, he graduated from Clinton High School in 1949 and married Gertrude Wooster October 8, 1949. To this Union was born 2 daughters, Tricia and Pam. He worked in the Goslin family business which dealt in Case tractors, Pontiac and GMC, and boats and Evinrude motors, all of his life and was a proud and respected businessman. He never missed an opportunity to help someone with repairs in his workshop “Grandpa’s Toy Box”. In the last several years he so enjoyed being a “delivery man” for his daughter’s business Bloomers Flower Shop in Clinton.

During their marriage they enjoyed, fishing, hunting, camping and winter trips to Texas. He was preceded in death by Gertrude, his wife of 64 years,and two brothers Harold and Jim. He is survived by his brother Donald Goslin, Clinton, his daughters, Tricia Burton of Springfield, Mo and Pam Hargrave and husband Dean, of Clinton, grandson Brent Burton and wife Laura of Springfield, granddaughter Jessica Jones and husband Tony of Kansas City, his “pride and joy” great grandchildren, Genevieve Mae and Archer Wesley Burton and Isaac Clancy and Elias Franklin Jones. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends.

He always considered himself a ” jack of all trades but master of none”. He served in the National Guard for 12 years, was a Henry County sheriff deputy, retired fire captain with the Clinton Fire Department, was a charter member of the Good Sams Camping Club, Clinton Eagles and honorary life member and past exalted ruler of the Clinton Elks Lodge.

Geneva Miller, 83, of Windsor, Missouri, died Sunday morning, November 29, 2015, at her home in Windsor.

She was born April 19, 1932, at her home near Leeton, Mo., the daughter of Dewey Seabird Tracy and Sarah Ellen (Moore) Tracy. On June 8, 1950, in Harrison, Arkansas, she married James William Miller and he survives of the home.

Geneva worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for 20 years. She also took in ironing for several families in town and was a babysitter. She was the secretary for the First Christian Church and also for the Marti Hatchery in Windsor. Geneva was a long-time member of the First Christian Church, Windsor, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Bible Reader’s Guild. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, embroidery, reading and doing jigsaw and word search puzzles.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Leroy Miller, Burnsville, Minnesota; Lonnie Miller, Windsor, Mo.; a daughter, Kathleen Stevens and husband Larry, Raytown, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Matthew Tiblow, Melissa Miller, Nathan Miller, Andrew Miller, Aaron Miller, Megan Hader and husband Floyd, and Eric Kemp and girlfriend Kristi Williams; four great-grandchildren, Arianna Kemp, Madison Williams, Gabriel Kemp, and Micah Kemp; and several nieces and nephews. Geneva was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Tracy.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the Hadley Funeral Home with Rev. David Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas was born to William and Terry (Decker) Hartley on August 28, 1986 in Independence, Missouri. He graduated from Calhoun High School in 2006, attended Tulsa Welding School, and completed a two year pipefitters apprenticeship. Thomas loved the “Blues” and played the guitar. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Thomas enjoyed working with his chainsaw and welder. He loved all things “Harley Davidson”. Thomas loved his friends, they were like his brothers and sister to him. He cherished his time with his wife and children. He was always willing to help anyone at anytime.

Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents; step-father, Donald “Star” Hanks; and uncle, Bob Hartley.

He is survived by his wife Amanda (Kimzey) Hartley; sons, Gunner Keeran, Keegan Hartley, and Kayden Hartley; parents, Terry and Bill Hartley; sister, Tammi Shaffer; niece and nephew, Lyric and Chord Shaffer.

Frances B. Harryman, age 94, formerly of Clinton, died at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, KS, on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

Frances was born March 18, 1921 to Samuel Lee Stewart and Maggie J. ‘Robinson’ Stewart of Brownington, MO. The oldest of 12 children, Frances married Delmar F. Harryman, an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Church of God and prided herself in her career as a pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Frances “Elaine” Harryman; her son, Eric Lee Harryman; two grandchildren, Wendy Dimarco and Scot McMannama; two brothers, Earl Stewart and Bill G. Stewart; and three sisters, Ethyl Mae McNeil, Mary Lou Serrano and Viola Bailey.

Preceding her in death was her parents; her husband; one brother John Stewart; and three sisters, Norma Kohler, Eula Hines and Betty Ann Ulshafer.

The family will receive visitors at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery.

ODESSA, MO: Michael Trent Elliott, 57, (formerly of
Eagleville, MO) passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at
Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
He was born February 13, 1958 in Bethany, MO the son of
Richard and Shirley (Wyant) Elliott. They preceded him death.
On June 25, 1988 he married Linda Meyer in Sedalia, MO. She
survives at home.
Mike was a graduate from North Harrison High School Class of
1976. He excelled at basketball and was awarded First Team
All-State and had a career high of 1974 points. He went on to
graduate from Graceland University and became a teacher and
coach serving Maysville, Lakeland, Brookfield, Macon,
Kirksville, Clinton and Odessa Schools. He retired after 30 years
of service. He was also an Eagle Scout.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his
grandparents.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Linda Elliott, include children,
Trenton and Kennedy, of the home; Father and Mother-in-law,
Marvin and Elizabeth Meyer, Sedalia, MO; sister, Brenda Elliott,
Clinton, MO; brothers, Tracy (Donna) Elliott, Warrensburg, MO,
Brent (Kelly) Elliott, Stewartsville, MO; nephews and nieces,
Chad (Anne) Elliott, Bristol, England, Cam Elliott, Warrensburg,
MO, Connor Elliott, Laurel, MT, Hannah and Clayton Meyer,
Sedalia, MO; and special friends, Tim (Dala) Canyon and
Debbie Keller.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6 at
Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Inurnment will take
place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to
3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions

Born to John Franklin Persinger and Edith Anna (Justice) Persinger on October 8,1925. Eunice went on to become a school teacher, she was also a waitress here in Clinton and later retired from Rival Manufacturing Company in Clinton, Missouri. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing and a love of reading, she was also of Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry “Hank” Harrelson, brothers Alfred, Elbert and Dale, along with a sister Celesta.
Among survivors are her brothers Oscar of Carrollton, Missouri, Paul of Springfield, Missouri and Otis of Republic, Missouri. Along with a several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Lucille was born July 19, 1936 to Loyd and Vallah (Prier) Warner west of Lowry City in Ohio, Missouri. After graduating from Osceola High, Lucille worked for Sear and Roebuck in Kansas City and transferred to Golden, Colorado. She greatly enjoyed her time there.

Lucille married William “Bill” A. Williams in October of 1972 and to this union a daughter was born. The family moved back to the Lowry City area in 1980. Lucille successfully juggled full-time motherhood with breeding quality American Quarter Horses and purebred dogs, which she continued for over thirty years.

While Lucille enjoyed gardening, classic country-western, oil painting, reading westerns, and teaching young people about horses and riding, and life in general. Her great loves were her family, her Quarter Horses, and her Welch Corgies.

Lucille was a member of The Flemington Methodist Church and The Shawnee Mound Cumberland. She was a believer in Gods word and believed he knew her heart no matter where she sat.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Vallah Warner; husband, William A. Williams; brother, Loyd Warner and son Ronald Eugene.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Williams Caudell and husband Tim of Malvern, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Anna Jones of Oakgrove, Missouri; nephews, Dennis Jones of Kansas City, Kansas, and William “Bill” Jones (Darlene) of Bates City, Missouri; niece, Twyla (Tom) Peterson of Independence, Missouri; her dear “sister” Linda (David) Fears of Long Lane, Missouri and numerous cousins and a blessed number of friends.
